Andrea is a curious piano teacher based in downtown Toronto, Canada. For over 15 years, she and her students have explored all sorts of music written for the piano from Classical to Contemporary styles. Andrea graduated from the Royal Conservatory of Music with ARCT diplomas in piano performance and pedagogy. She has also completed graduate work in music, education, and piano pedagogy at the University of Toronto (B.Mus, B. Ed) and the University of Ottawa (M.A.). Besides teaching piano, Andrea has worked as an adjudicator and an elementary school teacher. She is a member of the Ontario College of Teachers, the Ontario Registered Music Teachers Association, the Canadian Federation of Music Teachers Association and Music Teachers National Association. When not teaching, Andrea enjoys guffawing at musical puns, exploring Ontario’s parks and conservation areas, and fussing over her pet crested gecko, Truffles.
